Kurdistani Satellite TV´s reach 20 Channels

The prospect of Kurdish intellectuals of having a strong media world wide to inform its 40 million strong population is getting a great start. This is while three parts of Kurdistan still remain under foreign occupation. Today the main parts of Kurdistan North, East and Southern parts all have a saying and is spreading their plight to the world media and informing its own people.
Kurdistan Network has counted the Kurdish channels that are broadcasted via satellite and the number reaches 20 channels. This is far more than many independent and populous countries in the world. For example a huge nation like Australia has about 20 satellite channels.
The main political parties, organizations, intellectuals, writers, artists, Kurdish dialects, religions and cultures are all represented in these channels. The channels can also be seen online through Kurdo TV´s website the address is kurdotv.com.
The first Kurdish satellite channel was Med TV referring to the ancestors of the Kurds the Meds and the Median Empire. Its successor today is called Roj TV and is still one of the most popular Kurdish Channels world wide.
