Kurdistan and Italy strengthen their ties

A commercial delegation from Southern Kurdistan will take part in a commercial conference in Italy this month. - The aim of this participation is to boost relations between Kurdish and Italian companies, said Baqi Horami (Head of Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Slemani) to Aswat Iraqi. The delegation will also visit the Lombardi City on October 23-24th.
The other aim is to bring higher quality products to Southern Kurdistan. Today most of the products of the market are composed of low-quality and cheap Chinese, Iranian, and Turkish products. Many Kurds have now realized that the quality of these cheap products are even lower compared to the prices, and therefore are turning to the European market and this tendency is growing.
The KRG is to prevent low-quality products from entering the region through quality control labs that are set to be established.
